my God is gracious!

Yeayyy~~ Observations over, holiday starting, I’m truly a free man right now! But I guess I’m so used to school days that even till today, I keep thinking that there’s school tomorrow.

Last observation was assessed by both supervisor and mentor, so I was a nervous me. Perhaps it’s because I planned too many details in my lesson and I feared I might forget any of them and my supervisor could be quite particular. But thanks be to the good God! The feedback given was still quite positive to me, coz my evaluation form showed quite a bit of improvement. In fact, I didnt think I did that well, due to some poor time management, I actually missed out quite a few things that I had planned. Anyway, another encounter that God is good and gracious all the time! ^^ Praise Him!!

It’s time to clear my pichas again~!

Took photos of my school and the kids for the very first time last Thursday when they had the inter-class patriotic singing competition. Saw a lot of my friends’ FB are filled with updates and pics of their school, made me wonder why I never took mine. :) So here they are! Just a few of them…

The kids were allowed to wear national costumes on that day. But because almost 90 to 95% of the kids were Malays, so most of them were clad in baju Melayu, so the atmosphere that day was more like a Raya celebration more than National Day! ^^

My Year 4 girls…

My Year 3 boys… a bunch of monkeys but I still *heart* them, esp chubby Syawal in red! He could give you the most innocent look and all your burning anger would just extinguish by itself… :D

The whole school was assembled in the hall… Very few pupils compared to other schools right… I think there’re less than 200 pupils...

The first gift I got from the school… hahah… actually quite pai-seh to have received it coz all the teachers were involved in their religious activity but the two of us were just sitting in the staffroom minding our own business… :P

1st time I felt that plastic flower actually looked quite nice too… :)

Come to think of it, I really thank God for my school teachers. They are always helpful, always prioritise our observation, and not at all demanding. Maybe none of them would read this, but I still want to wish them here: Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Maaf Zahir Batin! ^^ Thank you, teachers and staff of SKBUD!

Speaking of Hari Raya, the Ramadhan Bazaar has become one of our favourite spots for dinner. After the Jamuan Makan in school last time, I actually got addicted to Nasi Kerabu! :9 Pure blisssss~~~! It’s truly a blessing to live in a multi-racial nation as such! The VARIETY in food is enough to be grateful for dont you think? So how can anyone not love Malaysia???

By the way, we found a new way to eat murtabak! Put a cheese on top and flip it over and wrap the whole thing up again… Then continue to savour other food… after a while, open the wrapper up and flip the murtabak over again. There you have it, a hot cheesy murtabak~~!! d^^b Try it~~!

p/s: Sorry if my updates are all in irrelevant chunks… hehehehe… :P

Experienced God’s miracle again on Friday on our way to Cheras for our cell group meeting… Cheng-kerik’s fuel warning was blinking even when we’re just starting to be stuck in a jam in Section 14! When we passed by SK Bukit Bintang (L), the usually-free-flowing traffic was crawling! We could imagine how the rest of the traffic at Federal Highway looked like!! Oh my…!

In my head I was visualing the route we’re gonna take to Cheras… perhaps there’d be a petrol station somewhere… but there’s none! None of which we knew of. And I dont know hear from where that petrol consumption is greater when your car is NOT moving. T.T

So we moved inch-by-inch all the way, our heart crying out to God. Please God, don’t let us be stranded in the middle of the highway. Dah-lah jam, the others might curse us for creating even more congestion!!

It’s a good test of faith, to fix your eyes on God instead of the environment, and I’m glad everyone passed it. At first we’re sort of anxious, but after a while I really felt the peace of God sweeping to me. We’re gonna reach Cheras without having to push the car!

Once we reached the Cheras toll gate, Cheng-kerik suddenly beeped kinda loudly, alarming everyone. Louis felt that the car wasn’t really picking up speed even though he pressed on the gas pedal…

And we’re like… God! A few hundred meters away only!! Please dont fail us!!

And He was faithful till the end! We managed to slide into Petronas at Bdr Permaisuri in time to feed Cheng-kerik. ^^ If there is such a thing as coincidence in this world, we’d have been the luckiest creatures on earth!

And by God’s grace we reached Zuzhang’s place safe and sound… and were rewarded with a Big Apple’s treat from Lucas!

Doughnuts that looked like sushi~!!

A closer view to make your mouth water! :9

And some of them stored surprises for us inside! A sudden burst of chocolate cream! Yummy yummy! ^^

Thanks Lucas! You’re the God-sent angel. Hahaha…

But it had caused all our attention to be diverted from sharing… :P Anyway, it’s a great time of fei-lou-ship~! ^^
