WHY 5 MINUTES?

Oh God, I just said I'm getting used to him last night and today You put me to test!

Why 5 minutes????

Apparently I don't know the answer, but I think there's no need to rob me of my self-esteem and trample it underfoot.

I'm just a SO-CALLED good student, nothing else, and in big risk of getting a 'C' for the subject, as with the case for the "good students" in the previous cohorts.

But there's no need to emphasise on that. Is it not enough to fear answering questions because the fat chance is "Wrong!" and besides that, "Wrong!!!"? Must it come with humiliation because I can't answer one question?

Getting used to this...? Nah, still a long way to go. Who knows maybe NOT at all in the end.

On a positive note, it's a good reminder of the do's and dont's in the class.. Even adults like me can't take it, what more little children? And yeah, now it's a test of 'forgiveness' and 'love your enemies and pray for them'..

My God, You really know what's best for me..

updates needed!

Gosh, how long have I left this place to accumulate dust!

Actually, I’ve sort of begun to fear blogging.. because now it’s compulsory! It becomes an obligation! There are 2 subjects of mine which require us to blog every week for reflection.. and we have to go and visit our friends’ to comment because marks are allocated for that too! Oh my~~!!

Everything is suddenly so E-! Eeeeeeeeeeee.wwww...

Alright, not complaining here though.. Guess I have finally settled down in PJ.. After approximately one month!

Getting used to staying in a room all by myself (and being the guard post)... oh ya, will post pictures of my room when I tidy it nicely someday.. :P

Getting used to opening so many gates to come in..

Getting used to being so near to church! (Yay! And so, getting used to joining Youth and –God really heard my prayer— and morning devotion on certain days when we have no class)...

Getting used to dry clothes under the sun.. (I LIKE~!!)

Getting used to the Mamak here.. (I miss Nazrin Bistro & Hajris Bistro & Hajris Utama in Sri Permaisuri!) Terpaksa eat although not as nice la.. hahaha

Getting used to UM, most importantly! The workload, Dr Rashid (ehem..), and running from class to class...

Getting used to not being able to go shopping so easily.. T.T Midvalley seems to be our hangout most of the time but I still prefer Times Square! Went there and bought clothes like I wouldnt return for another century! Midvalley is mostly for movies la... I think I’d watch the most movies ever throughout my whole life this term.. So far already two in one month!

And oh ya, speaking of Midvalley, we went to an eating place called Zen (by Secret Recipe).. It’s not very bad.. same floor as GSC, next to Nike.. they have more “main course” compared to SR.. and the types of cakes are slightly different.. so yeap! I have pictures of FOOD here! Slurrrppp...

And this is Creme Brulee.. Caryn fell in love with it at first sight I dont know why.. but not bad la.. Taste like pudding with egg and milk.. The top is a thin crispy sugary layer which reminded me of roti tisu.. :D

And yep.. basically that’s what we had for our teatime.. Go and try it!

weird thoughts

What do you do when you are dissatisfied, agitated, or perhaps angry with other people's mom?? You cant agree with the way she does things and you cant understand why she does things that way and the worst thing is, you cant do anything about it!

Why am I even having such a thought? Get lost you Negativism!

a new chapter?

Settled down in PJ. So far so good. Got used to sleeping alone at night, although sometimes insecurity still creeps in. I’ve never had my own room all my life up till now, so it’s quite a new experience to be able to have the privilege of privacy. My dream of ‘decorating’ my own room, or more accurately arranging furniture the way I like it to be, has finally come true..! ^^ I was wondering if I could ever change the position of the bigger pieces of my stuff once in a while, bed & wardrobe & all that.. hahaha.. seems quite impossible though..

A new place to stay.. a new environment for my 2 final years.. 2 new housemates.. some new experiences.. mark a new chapter in life?

Didnt start off exactly well in this place. Had conflicts during and after the moving process. But these are all inevitable I know. Just amazed at how a transition period could teach me so many things about people. And open my eyes to see that my assumptions aren’t real and that people are not born to meet your expectations of them.

I know God’s molding me. It shows He cares. So right now at this moment, when things don’t go the way I wish for, and when people aren’t who I assume them to be, I just have to know that He has a special plan for me; there is a certain path that He wants me to walk through; there are certain people out there who He wants me to meet.

So ya, motto of the day: be positive!

lamentation

Moved to PJ Section 14. A place where you dont have to worry bout food, but had better be careful bout your expenses & weight. “Flee from temptations!” would have to be my life motto for the following 2 years..

There’s no internet connection at home. Yet. So our only choice would be to lug our heavy laptops, complete with chargers and extension-wire and head towards McD or KFC where wi-fi is available. So right now going online = unhealthy food for lunch.. Sigh.. Hopefully the Streamyx guy keeps his promise next week..

Arrgghh... Think positive!
