stress is knocking at the door...

It's the hellish season of the term when stress is inevitable.. when all assignments and quizzes are crammed towards the last few weeks..

DSC00065

My bee-yoo-ti-ful planner is stained with ink and liquid paper.. And there are some more to come in April.. :(

Our life now is the sum of..

assignments + quizzes + tutorial tasks + lack of rest + panda eyes + stress + frustration + more assignments + exam + simulated teaching + workshop + conflicts + arguments + cold wars + being emotional + indifference + which house to rent + more conflicts + stress + more stress + more & more stress..

Not complaining.. Have been through this period for the past 3 terms and still surviving.. It's just a cycle in life.. An unavoidable part of life.. And anyway it's the last term in college... sigh.. let's just enjoy the process and not focus so much on the outcome..

one fine day

It's a fine day. ^^ Not because of the weather.. it was fine this morning (a bit too hot) but it's starting to rain now.. Nah not the weather.. but I'm reminded that we should always include the weather when we composed an essay last time in the format of a diary entry.. Chinese essay I mean.. It'd go like this..

3月4日 星期三 晴/阴/雨

as in..

March 4 Wednesday Sunny/Cloudy/Rainy

hahaha.. What's the purpose ya.. Because it'll affect our emotion for the day...? Ah nvm.. Sidetrack a bit... Well.. went for sports this morning (what a miracle for choo to appear in the field!).. because Jong is running in the 800m!! The very 1st athlete born in A-4-2 after 3 years!! Woo-hooo~!

Image025

Sorry ya girl. Let your virgin athlete look 曝光at my blog first.. ^^ I insert 1 only.. muahahah... you can blah about the rest in your blog! So what's the outcome...?? Did she win?

She..

...

....

.....will tell you all bout it herself!

Haha.. love SuSPensE~! let the main character reveal everything so that it's primary source info embedded with 100% emotions so that you can be in her sport shoes.. :D

Anyway.. no matter what the outcome is.. WE ARE VERRRY (rolling Rrrr's) PROUD OF YOU JONGIE!!

Came back home later to the assessment assignment which was waiting patiently for me.. And gotta meet up with the lecturer to ensure we're on the right track.. Dhaya was very nice to allow Jong to send us to college in her car (TQVM!)... but before that I got to eat in an Indian restaurant for the very first time in my life!! (Sua-ku la a bit..)

Usually we just go to Mamak's.. and I love it..! But I've never realised that Mamak and Indian restaurants are different! There's one at Salak Selatan which Jong referred to as the Tree Restaurant because it's like a tree house and you get to choose whether you want to sit under the tree (and eat and they will let down the menu and food with a string and you tie your money to that string to pay) or climb up the tree and eat in the tree house... it's not very eye-catching by the roadside cuz it's covered by the tree..

The 1st impression I got was.. it felt like India (seriously!), not that I've been to India, but it's just so authentically Indian atmosphere! ^^ We sat at a shady place near some trees (thus the tree restaurant) and met our Cohort 3 seniors! (and it's such a 'coincidence' that they asked us to fill up some survey forms on eating at restaurants of different races so i got to tick Yea! Now I've been to ALL and can tell the one I like the most to the least!)

Sidetracking a bit again.. Anyway.. Jong has blogged about this place i think.. But she has accidentally deleted it it seems (Did you? I couldnt find the link!) Anyway I still wanna talk bout it.. hahah.. It's same but different.. if you get me...

Long beans, potato & carrot (I think), cucumber & onion, keropok (i think there's a special name for it ya), taugeh and rice (I've added chicken curry onto it!)

The shadow was that of the tree-lah! The best thing about it was the way they served! Haha.. I dont know why but I'm so impressed by the way a few of the abangs came and served us together: one distributing the rice & dishes; one with a metal tin of keropok; another with the curry.. It made us (or me) feel rather homely & well-served.. ^^

And after you had your scrumptious meal, fold the banana leaf! (The spoon just happened to be there)

Dhaya: It means you like the food and come back again next time. Ah.. The plus point of living in a multi-racial country (loving Malaysia hahahah) is that you get to learn a lot bout other culture and it's so interesting! And it's not expensive at all! It's like an Indian buffet, so eat all you can!

We didnt have a second helping though.. The portion looked small but very filling! The teh-ais here is superb.. hahaha.. because there's more milk but not too sweet.. 2 thumbs up!

And the special thing bout this meal is that..

Asmah is with us! I think it's her first time out for meals with all nons! ^^ Good to have your company As! But I look so gigantic and weird.. x.X

So back to Malaysia from India (the uncle at the counter looked like those middle-aged Bollywood actors ^^ hahaa).. went to see Miss Ng for assignment.. not anything special.. but she laughed a lot today! And it's like.. not weird.. but new to us.. ahahah.. seldom see her laughing.. so it felt soooo NICE to see her go 'kah-kah-kah' like that...

Today's not a day when I feel extraordinarily happy.. but just the calmness of everything.. And how people around you makes you smile.. :) I'm settled with a big contentment in my heart..

march

The beginning of the month of insanity.

Assignments & quizzes are not enough to sum it all.

The air smells like weirdness.. something's wrong somewhere.

Human interaction tastes like artificial flavoring.. sweet but loses all genuineness.

Rainy days are here. Gone. And back again.

Just let me run away for a while.
