may-june break

I’m back!

After dumping my blog for 1 month plus… and it’s July dy! Teaching practice starts 4 days later! This morning went for briefing. Guess what? I got SK Bandar Utama Damansara… I heard the kids there are all terror-terror… don’t know whether I should laugh or cry. T.T

Well, guess God has His sovereign will and ways of doing things that sometimes we can’t and don’t need to fully comprehend.

This holiday has been a fruitful one, jammed and packed with all kinds of things. First, my west M friends came over for an 8-day-and-7-night vacation. I was so excited to blog about it and all, but the Internet connection failed me (again), so by the time I went online, most of us had uploaded dozens and dozens of pictures dy…! == I still want to blog about it though… hahaha… an exclusive one! Not here, in the next post. From Day 1 to 8… all the details… how we eat & sleep… pee & poo….

K so now I’m gonna summarise my holiday & dump all random pictures here…! :) Ready?

Before our trip this time, baby finally bought his baby. Hahaha… his Nikon D90… I’d have to fight for his attention now…

DSC02991  Look at his cheeky finally-I-got-you smile… ^^

Don’t know why he didnt pose with his baby though… I think he’s still in the unbelieving mode. Anyway, he was happy enough he got to snap-snap during the trip.

Then there was the trip… And after that I got to rest and spend some time with the family…

The highlight? Niny, of course!!!

DSC03424

Niny is quite a big girl now… She could ‘drag’ herself from one place to another real fast.

DSC03449

She’s planning to skip the crawling stage I suppose.

DSC03408

Sometimes she’d refuse to take picture but her mom’ll make life easier for us paparazzi. Hahaha… Look how unwilling she is!

DSC03462

At times she reads too… ^^

DSC03472

And ‘bites’ whatever that she could get hold of…

DSC03490

DSC03519

Niny’s passport photo. Hahaha… it’s such a shame that I took the wrong focus.

DSC03521

And the greatest sense of achievement for this aunty would be to able to take her smiling face!

DSC03514And the very first birthday bash Niny joined was her mom and her two twin aunts’ birthday! The 3 of them were born on the same date, June 20th!

DSC03518

And she simply loved the American Cheesecake! Kept coming back for more… ^^ We let her try a bit though she’s got a few baby teeth only… :P

DSC03499

Me attended a wedding… Got the 3rd red bomb of my life :)…

DSC03504

Congrats to Connie & Terence…!! May God bless your marriage abundantly! And bless you with kids as many as the stars in the sky… hahaha ;P

DSC03446

And as you can see, I cut my hair which I have kept for years!!!! T.T My long hair~~~~~~~~ I miss my long hair~~!!

Met up with Hui Hui & Khai Ling and found a nice yam-cha spot! I’ve never known the existence of this place!!

DSC03543

Isabella’s… It’s so near to my house! Maybe I’m the only sua-ku one… My first impression of the place was.. wah.. 梁山伯&祝英台! XD Coz of the curtains & veils… A very good place for dating… :) with the dim lights and all that…

DSC03534

Big face portrait…

DSC03540

And camwhootz in front of the washroom…

DSC03541

They have cute decorations…

DSC03538

and hilarious signs… **‘Big Size’ here interpreted as big business.

DSC03528

My twin sisters’ application results for Teachers’ Training were out towards the end of my hol… Good news was: they both got it; bad news? One got Kota Samarahan & the other got Perlis… which means…

DSC03529a

PARTING…! After sticking together for so many years…

So you can imagine the rest of the holiday was packed with getting ready to leave home for studies… There were seriously tons to do… and tons of farewell parties to attend…

DSC03544

Had a farewell steamboat dinner for my sist during our last cell group meeting… thought it’d be kinda emotional but it wasn’t too teary… :P

DSC03549

The day before my youngest sist & I took off (I’m responsible to send her to Perlis and get ready some things for her), we had the nerve to adopt a dog from SSPCA for my mom (despite the fact that my dad dislikes pets!)… thought Weng-Weng could accompany her ma… since Daddy travels a lot… Actually Weng-Weng risked being sent back to SSPCA, but then again,  it was another long story that I wouldn’t elaborate. Right now it stays at home with my mom. :D

DSC03551

And finally I got on the plane on Saturday, this time with a family member… kinda marked the end of my holiday… :(

DSC03556

We had to take another flight up to Alor Setar the following night… and drive up to Kangar on Monday morning…

DSC03552

She has got to be one of the strongest girl I have ever seen… There’re so many stories to be told during our stay there esp on the registration day but I choose not to go into any details here to prevent myself from ranting and complaining again… But my dear sister, I know God has a special will for you there. You’ll definitely shine for Him! *hugs* Orientation week could be tough… but it has ended!  You can do it!

DSC03564

Can you spot her? Reminds me of those days 5 years back…

We stayed in Kangar for another day… It’s a good small town with good food which is real cheap! ^^

DSC03574

Quoting Louis: Window XP! hahaha..

DSC03576

DSC03579

and there we go.. going back on a bus… I really thank God for the extra week of holiday after this… My body couldn’t support such long journeys I guess… Been sick for twice after coming back from Kangar. So peeps, if you do remember, pray that I’ll be loud and healthy before practical starts ya~!
