I must include a post script here for my fire post.. coz Caryn complained that I didn’t mention that the firemen finished up all our yogurt drinks despite their bravery.. Hahaha.. And they littered everywhere after they left.. But couldn’t blame them too.. They are firemen; not cleaning-men..
Gonna post pictures of fooood again! Went to SS2 Murni last saturday and tried for ourselves the ever famous Murni restaurant! Have heard the Big name for quite some time and all feedbacks have been extremely positive.. and if you go and google it you’ll find pages of Murni food reviews!
We heard from our coursemates that there wasn’t a menu available.. so Caryn searched online and we got to know some famous must-have dishes there..!
I didn’t have a picture of the crowds.. but it’s certainly packed to the max there! So many people were queuing! And we took the time to survey what was on others’ table to get an ‘overview’ of what we should eat later…
Few weeks back I just heard that the shop telah disati (Jong, 2010), oops, I mean diSITA.. don know why.. business too good? But they opened again now and I saw a notice which read that they couldn’t place more than 20 tables outside, which I think could be the factor of the sati SITA-tion..
Enough of the grandmother stories.. let me show you what we ordered!
**Mango Special**
All the drinks come in big jars.. with all sorts of colors.. we only tried mango and watermelon juice.. they have cubes of fruits inside..!! share-share la coz if you’re to finish that alone, there’s no more room for solid food!
Tried the meatball spaghetti too.. The meatballs were homemade I think.. I like! d^^b Let me give you a closer view of the succulent tomato sauce!
I’m hungry…! :(
Then we tried the Roti Hawaii.. we saw this on almost every single table!
Not bad at all.. I like the mayo~~ Looks like spiderman’s food rite..
The chicken chop was excellent too! Real juicy! I don’t like those dry fried chicken… and some KFC outlets do serve those kinds of chicky meals when they should have been experts. But it’s a personal view kinda thing, no offense to anyone…
Lou shu fan.. To me it’s like ok-ok only la.. Hahah.. nothing very extremely special.. but if you like those claypot burnt rice you might like this! Taste nice with the chili sauce served…
And actually that was the end. We wanted to finish up the last scrap and pay already when the waiter served a pizza on the table behind us~~
It would be toooo weird if we just let it go.. Hahaha.. so we ordered one lorr… what else.. Seafood Pizza.. thumbs-up.. lotsa cheeeeesse!
Jong’s demonstrating how ‘elastic’ the cheese was.. hahahaha… we tapao-ed another Dragon Pizza back home…! Didn’t get to take the picture but it looked like a Super Gigantic Curry Puff…!
Wallet a bit painful when paying because I think that was the first time we makan supper till RM70!! But I must say we really ate to our money’s worth la…
Had a good time there? Would we come again? I guess it’s a YES! Coz I haven’t tried the purple color drink.. haha… Go and try it if you haven’t!
