back home… and a superb dinner before that

Alrite before my photo collection gets messier I’d better clear them off… Well, I’m back in my own house! Not exactly home sweet home, for the stay at Zuzhang’s place was really like a vacation to me..

Muahuahuahua… anyway we’ve given them enough trouble and it’s time to go home… I guess the biggest comfort we had for going back to a dirty and smelly house that needed loads of cleaning is: we’re REALLY going HOME on thursday (aka tomorrow~)!!

Nope we did not get any discounts for the house rental (huge disappointment since we need to replace those damaged things ourselves – no insurance no nothing!)… But at least the house owner was kind enough to give the shabby house a new coat of paint.

Tadaa… this is how my ‘new’ house looks like now.. Yellow on the outside and white inside. A Banana House!

The ceiling has been repaired~~ compare before and after!

DSC01972 The day before moving back, I went back to salvage some teaching aids… These fruits were the only survivors, the rest had drowned… :( which means all the hard work gone….

It was only after we moved out all the furniture in the room then the workers started cleaning it… I guess if we had not come back (coz initially we didn’t plan to) they would just leave it be!

Caryn said my room still had the musty smell but I couldn’t smell it… The result of having the damn damp floor mat for one week plus!

But anyway the pathetic sight of our rooms didn’t snuff out our enthusiasm to shop for groceries and cook spaghetti for our cell group meeting that night! Hahaha… when it comes to food… aha~

IMG_2221I was not acting k; I was really cooking!

DSC01975Cooking spaghetti sauce and chicken mushroom soup! Yummy!

IMG_2212 Lotsa cheese in the spaghetti sauce as well as the soup! Zuzhang got the shock of his life when he saw the picture…. Everyone’s gonna gain a few more kilos!

Caryn was a superb chicken meat tear-er… and a great assistant! (Anyone wants to hire her? Lucas?) Hahaha.. And Jong prepared refreshing thirst-quenching fruit punch (with longan and peaches, I like~~!!!)

DSC01973Fine dining… ahahahah

IMG_2254 Dinner is served! Why I dont have Jong’s pictures ya?

IMG_2261 “Thank you Jesus for giving us food!”

IMG_2262

And finally a group picture before gobbling up our food! Love this one~~ everyone looks bee-yoo-ti-fool and hand-some~~!!!

And what did we do after that… oh yeah we’re so bloated that everyone started cracking lame jokes and teka-teki… hahah but it was all so warm…!

food (fei-lou-ship) + fellowship = perfect bonding!
