a new family member

By God's grace, let me present to you, the new Choo's family photo!! Isn't it bee-yoo-ti-ful?? Ahaks... although it's not like my brother-in-law's gonna follow our surname... but yea, he's part of the family now, and I can no longer call him 'Harry.. Harry...' but '大姐夫'! I'm trying to get used to it still though.. Gimme some time.. ^^

Yup! You've guessed it! The Chooeyys have just had the very first and long-awaited wedding in the house!

And weddings are always lovely.. despite the hard work & seemingly petty details that shouldnt be overlooked.. but I thank God everything was smooth & that now it's over! Ahahaha.. frankly speaking.. I got a bit of 'phobia' after attending 3 weddings this year.. you'd never imagine there were just so many things to handle behind the scene!!

We actually spent almost 2 days just for simple church deco.. the deco was little but troublesome.. haha.. but I've learnt the lesson.. next time shud juz use cloth.. much much easier!! Anyway this was it.. balloons which kept getting smaller...

this is one which I love particularly.. ^^ hand-made doves.. the message we're trying to convey was actually: There's Jesus in our Love!

Now for some memorable scenes before the Holy Matrimony takes place.. ^^ here goes..!

this is the my eldest sista a.k.a. the bride~! make-up in process.. not easy... didnt have a good night sleep... but yea.. i guess most brides dont sleep well before the BIG day..

And so the suffering begins~! Now I think it looks a bit like Sports Day or those Sukaneka we had back in our secondary school years!

and not forgetting d' LOUD confession that'll wake the whole neighbourhood: "朱相颖, 我爱你!!"
unfortunately that wasn't the end of it.. more assignments to come as the groom was asked to write a love note (and he really took his sweet time!).. and also to present the bride with 12 kisses on a paper...

And all this hard work would have been in vain if the father of the bride did not consent!

I Love these Pictures! Esp the one on the right..! I dont know why but I always feel like shedding tears when I see them.. perhaps it's the knowledge of my bro-in-law being in a single-parent family most of his life.. or that the rare sight of my father, always an authoritative figure being enveloped in a warm embrace as such.. it just evokes emotions! T.T

And the battle for the bride continues with Harry's heng dai going all out for him! Raja sehari cant have his feet touching the ground, so says zimuis..
