2011 is here!

Happy new year 2011!

I know, it's already the 6th day, coming to the 7th... and I don't have the mood to blog! :( Reason being, I have no photos! TT There were a bunch of interesting events and I don't know why I didn't take a single picture.

On New Year's Eve we went for the Youth's overnight church prayer. Sounds so spiritual right? Hahaha... I thank God for the opportunity. Coz we usually don't attend the weekly overnight prayer meeting due to clashes of time with our cell group meeting. But because our cg leaders couldn't lead that day due to end-of-month closing, I thought why not just moved everyone to church and experienced a unique way of entering the new year!

It was really a blessed way to usher in the new year. More importantly, I believed that God has given me my new year resolutions. They were more like 'RE'-solutions for me! I've got 3: REpent of my past mistakes and sins; be REborn again and have a REnewal of mind; and REconcile - whether it is my relationship with God, or with family and friends which I have failed to care for for the past 1 year... and I'm sure the list doesn't stop there! There'll be more to come as I seek His face! And all these would lead to REvival!! Amen!

Guess what else we did? On Pastor David's suggestion, we had a countdown at the entrance of the tabernacle, and when the clock struck 12, we ran out as a prophetic act that we would GO OUT this year! Then we ran back in as another prophetic act that people, esp youths would be rushing into our church this year!! So much for being crazy for Him! :D

I proclaim that this year will be a year of BREAKTHROUGH! And I want to proclaim this with FAITH!

After the prayer meeting most of us went for supper at Picadilly's until almost 2 am... we didn't plan to stay so long but time just seemed to fly..!

No pictures of people but there are pictures of food haha...

Beef Nachos! Are they supposed to look like this?? Looks like a pizza right? I thought should be nacho chips with melted cheese + bits of minced beef...! RM5.50++

Turkey Ham Pizza, RM15++ Okay lah.. like how a homemade pizza would taste like... okay maybe less than that. XP

And those were the only pictures that I've got. Unbelievable.

Then on Sunday I got the honor of being invited to Lubie's company lunch buffet at Shangri-la Hotel... and I so smartly left my phone in the car which resulted in... not a single picture! And partly it was because it was kinda awkward and embarrassing to shoot using my cam phone when there were pro photographers seated at the same table!

Since we took no photos, we made it up by taking A LOT after we came back. Hahaha...

Yeah I know what you're thinking. They're all pretty much the same right... hahaha

This one was fine until we realised I was showing one of my fangs. ==

Even the back of cheng-kerik provides an opportunity for a shot. ^^

I really thank Lubie's boss for the treat. At the same time I vow that we should have a buffet meal at a hotel like this before we go on our own separate ways! I'm certain it would be a whole lot fun-er eating with people that you've known for life! :P

Speaking of parting, we've just grown through the very 1st week! And there're just 13 more to go before the study week, the exam, and that was it!! Oh my!! TT

We're having the 'add-and-drop' week now, which means we still get to decide on what courses to choose. But I'm having such a big dilemma now as for what to take for electives!!! Foreign languages? Or go for something that doesn't have exam?? Actually I don't have that much fear for exam, it's just that if I go for foreign languages, should I take Thai, German or Portuguese??

Ahhh... decisions, decisions...

Nah not gonna fret about it. I just want to enjoy this six months coz they might be my last chance of studying! I so thank God that I still get to study after the part-time job! Looks like retail line is really not my cup of tea!

Have uploaded my last day in TSTMMV on fb. But there's still one more item that I'd like to share here...

My ah-ma shoes which I bought on the 2nd day of work! They were spoiled on the 3rd last day... yet they endured the battle till the last day!

officially R.I.P.

Cost me RM39.90 even though they looked kind of choink... But when I counted the days this pair of shoes has been serving me, it was a surprising 39 days! RM1 for a day... not bad lah~~~ :)

Hahaha... I wish I would return with more interesting news! Stay tuned!
