korean feast…

Want to dump in all the bits & pieces while I still have that couple of hours with access to GOOD internet connection..

Went to Dae Jang Gum that day for Korean food.. It was like an on-the-spot decision thingy, because Christina sort of craved for Korean meals that weekend.. Haha.. So off we went, with not more than a few bucks in the pocket, and Louis had to go *kaching* first..

DSC00743

If we were miserly enough, we could have just ordered bowls of white rice and shoved it down with the side dishes.. they come with any order and is refillable.. ^^

DSC00744

I ordered Kimchii Soup with Ham, which was actually hotdogs.. Arhhh~

DSC00745

Louis’s was better.. Cuz there’s beef~!

DSC00748

Jong’s sotong.. Reminds me of the horror movie with giant squid.. Ergghh~

DSC00753

This is like the best part of everything! I just love the desserts! The drink tastes like cold barley with ginger and I havent figured out what it is till now..

DSC00749

We agree that Louis looked quite ‘miang’ here, hahaha

DSC00751

Yam cha~! Chung cha~! Bla bla~~

DSC00754

choo: So how, Christina, what do you think of the food?

christina: ok la.. I can cook better than this..!

Whooops.. Haha.. but frankly I still prefer Japanese food. But if you want a good taste of Korea, go to Seoul Korea at Tmn Desa, there you can eat to your $$’s worth! Well, the food wasn’t really up to expectation (speaking like a top chef), but the bonding was gr8.. :D

p.t.u.m.

Wad’s that??

It’s dong-dong-dong-chiang, dong-dong-dong-chiang, dong-dong-chiang-dong-chiang-dong-chiang~~~~

Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya! *wrong background music*

Yes you have guessed right! I’ve just joined UM’s Pesta Tanglung and am one of the AJKs of Biro Jualan..!

In the midst of busy-ness? YES! Are you out of your mind?? MAYBE! What made you make that decision? I DON’T KNOW!

Those were the questions my friends seemed to be asking when they heard me, well, indirectly. I could read their disbelief expression with those big, widened eyes O.O"'

What made me go for the interview after contemplating for 15 minutes when before that the flyer did not even attract me to scan it through for a second time? Well, let’s just say it’s a touch from God. Really! And who was the contributing factor? SAYSIONG! And Louis is the supporting factor.. Hahaha...

Well things turn out quite well it seems.. so far so good.. to me.. Coz I wouldn’t call myself a very active or sociable person by nature.. I used to run away as far as I can from clubs, co-cu & the like if I’m not obliged to join.. And meeting new friends sometimes scare me *shy shy* :P.. so to volunteer to enter this is way out of being ME.. but I’m surprised that at this stage, I’m loving it!

Went to the interaction day last Sunday and joined in the ice-breaking.. Not bad~ :D I love the auction game.. very nerve-breaking.. hahaha

I was in the Chicken team.. (dengan semua ayam ayam sekalian.. LOLz) so we got our group a name called Brand’s (白兰氏) Have I got the term right? And ooh, I LOVE our chant: Ko Ko Kai 啊 Ko Ko Kai, 白斩鸡啊白斩鸡, KFC 啊 KFC, 纸包鸡啊纸包鸡, 白兰氏鸡精! 保持机警, xxxx! (forgot what’s the back part of Brand’s slogan ;P)

angels’ celebration

Stealing a lil’ time to blog here..

Life’s getting more hectic.. with assignments and reflections and videos and a lot of e-space to explore.. it’s a wonder that I have yet to fall apart! God’s grace is sufficient for me!

Wanted to update some time ago but kept delaying.. well one of them is this! The angels cheered and celebrated with us 2 weekends ago when a sweet child of God entered into His kingdom!

DSC00704 “I hereby baptize you in the name of the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit..”

DSC00706

Christina looked pretty nervous.. hahaha..

DSC00707

The climax of baptism: we died, were buried, and resurrected together with Jesus!

*Arrhh.. I have yet to get our group photo from zuzhang..!*

Congratulations, Christina! Welcome to the House of God! May God bless you and use you mightily in His kingdom! *hugs*
